Monday Fun

This Monday we went to MonaKids Jungle. The indoor play place that my kids enjoy. We hadn't been in forever and after relaxing all morning Kevin and I decided it was time to go out and have some fun.

Titus enjoyed himself. He loved the ball pit.

Josiah didn't sit still the entire time! I couldn't get him to stop for a picture.

Audrey and LJ stopped in the tunnel to take a picture.

Going across the tightrope.

Where you could find Kevin and I...just chillin in the ball pit while our kids wondered around.

Audrey and the Camera

So, Audrey ran up to me the other day and asked for the camera. Here are some pics she took with her friends.
Her posing with a friend's bear.

Jaylee taking her picture.

Audrey taking Jaylee's picture.
Audrey taking a picture of Jordan taking a picture.
The whole reason she borrowed the camera. To get pictures of Japanese gals in Kimonos.

Look who's standing

This past week Titus has mastered the art of pulling himself. He thinks he is so cool. However, he doesn't know how to get back down and will just stand there crying until someone will sit him down.

Thanks, Uncle Jason!

The kids were so excited when the postman dropped the box off, they dug right in.
Josiah enjoying matchbox cars of his very own.
LJ LOVED his underwear!

Audrey was excited to have more scissors, just like Mom's.

Kevin and I have enjoyed the joke book...thanks!

Magnificent Monday

Mondays are usually the most dreaded day of the week for a lot of people, but not for us. It's Kevin's only full day off! We love Mondays. Usually one of us gets to sleep in, we lounge around and then sometimes we even go out and do something. Today we got to hang out with Abigail and Seth and Chandler and Anna...Abigail and Seth were visiting from mainland and it was so good to see them.

Check out the cool rainbow behind us...we have been blessed to see many rainbows lately thanks to the rainy season.

Hanging out at Mihama.

LJ played in this "tuk tuk" while some of us gals were shopping.
Stopped at Yogurtland...YUMMY!

Pictures..these are fun booths that you take your pictures in and then you get to decorate them and add things. It's a lot of fun and very popular here in Japan.
One of our many pictures
The boys (minus Chandler...not enough room) rode on an Apanman Ride...He's a Japanese superhero.

Even Seth had a good time

This is Josiah enjoying his glass of chocolate milk in the morning. "Choc milk, Mommy" are the first words I hear out of his mouth in the morning and if I'm still laying in bed it's, "up, please, choc milk mommy" whispered oh so quietly in my ear. Got to love this kid and his morning routine.

Photo Exhibit

The youth have been learning all about photography from a couple of gals who have been traveling around and using their photography skills to God's glory. They youth were blessed to learn so much and worked hard putting together a little exhibit for everyone's enjoyment.
Josiah is checking out the pictures

LJ was more interested in the bark and planters...He even picked all the flowers off and gave them to the gals.

And Titus had nothing better to do but hang around.

Week of Rest

Titus loves to eat and has mastered finger food. Yeah, for independent eating...although he is still a long way from using his spoon himself.

Life isn't always fun...here Josiah is through a fit about me leaving.

In true LJ form, even a new pair of grips for our bikes can be made into something worth while.
Yes, those are his new Iron Man boxers from Mrs. Farah.

Last week we were busy welcoming the new 6th graders in our 3rd annual Hot August Nights extravaganza...(For all you from Reno, it has nothing to do with classic cars)...it was a lot of fun, but I didn't take a single picture. However, this week has been rest and recovery and we have been lounging at home.

Titus now 9 months: He still low crawls but is amazingly fast. He is also getting so he can stand himself up if he finds the right thing. Don't know if he'll be walking around 10 months like his siblings, but he is certainly making progress.

Crawling over the legs of the chair...and, yes, he does have a choking hazard in his mouth. I can't ever seem to keep our house childproof. You think it would get easier with more kids, but in reality that's just more kids to leave things on the ground.

Josiah got a new hair cut. It's suppose to be a flat top like cut, but it's just more spikey than anything. It's cute on him. My mom said that her boys always went crazy went they went for the flat top. I figured Josiah couldn't get any more crazy so we might as well go for it.

Audrey got a new skirt from Grandma Kay...she loves it!! Thank you!

An even Bigger Beetle

We found another beetle, but this one is huge! You can buy these at stores for close to 20 bucks.
A free beatle is the only kind of beetle we will get...but maybe we should sell it!

Riding on the back of LJ's Indiana Jones guy

Yes, this boy loves his bugs!!
