Bug Box

As I sit down to update our blog I look over to find the newest addition to our family. It's a spider that we found in our house, next to the trash can. It has gotten a couple of days of extra life since we were quick to catch it and put it into our new bug box. Too bad I can't say the same for the grasshoper, butterflies and beattle that got put in there as well. The spider find them yummy. We also found a huge hermit crab at the park today. I'll have to take a picture of it and post it sometime. Right now its new home is in our yard. I'm not too sure about all this critter business but the kids love it.

Wrapping towels (with the help of hair things) around their necks and becoming superheros is one of their new favorite games. The fly around everywhere and beat anyone in their way up (usually their daddy). Even Josiah gets in on the fun every now and then.

They can Share!

These times seem few and far between, but, boy, do they make me happy! LJ was sharing his pillow and Audrey was sharing the coloring book and markers.

At the Park

Fun on the swings. Sometimes I feel as if all I ever do at any park is push kids on the swings. I can't wait for them to learn to pump their legs!

Josiah can sit and hang with the big kids

Now that he can get around and sit himself up he can really hang out with Audrey and LJ. He thinks he is so cool.

I think we can say it was a success. Plus, he has an older sister who can push him. Boy, he really made out!

The kids got spoiled...they even got to ride on the train. They really enjoyed it!

They were a little afraid to catch them at first, but in the end we couldn't get them to leave.

We got to watch the zookeeper feed the hippos. These ones actually come out of the water and they eat chunks/blocks of grass. Both Audrey and LJ got to throw a piece into their mouths. LJ made it the first try, but it took Audrey forever...I guess all that ball throwing has paid off ;-)

Feeding the Fish and Ducks

This is their favorite part of almost every park in Okinawa. There are lots of birds and fish who love Audrey's and LJ's generosity.
