He's Here!!

This was quite an experience...I was grossed out by the fact that they laid him right on me. I was trying to communicate using the little Japanese that I know to tell them that I was all good and didn't want them to put the kid on me until he was cleaned up, but they took my "daijobu" and waving my hands in a no-speaking fashion to mean "I don't mind getting my outfit all dirty". So, I might have a huge smile on my face for the picture, but deep down I'm cringing with an "ew, this is sooo gross!!" Look at Kevin, he's one proud Dad!!

Josiah Ray Johnson

Josiah was born on October 13th at 7:12 pm. He was 4,346 grams....I mean he was 9 pounds, 9 ounces and almost 20 inches long. Delivery went well and he made way in to this world after 12 hours of close coming contractions and two whole pushes. He was a welcomed sight. As you can see he was well received by LJ and Audrey. LJ loves his "Baby Siah" and Audrey constantly wants to do everything for him. They have both been great helpers!!
