About time I update you!

LIFE HAS BEEN CRAZY!! I feel like I have no time to keep this blog updated and I know I have neglected it and all my faithful followers...SORRY!! It's been interesting trying to figure out life with 4 kids. It's amazing how one child can throw the whole routine for a loop. I'm slowly getting things worked and accepting the fact that I really don't have time to breath until both Josiah and Titus are napping in the afternoon. The rest of the time I'm constantly needed by someone or trying to get the house picked up a little...I mean we do need clean clothes and dishes sometimes. I'm enjoying the madness, for the most part. I go to bed exhausted. I'm just thankful that Titus is a great sleeper and that I do get to sleep through the night. I'm going to try to be better at updating this more regularly. In the meantime I hope you enjoy the last month and a half.

Progressive Dinner

Last night was our 3rd progressive dinner. It's always fun to dress up and hang out with the youth. The all looked snazzy! It seemed to me like everyone had a great time and our hosts did a wonderful job with every course. And a huge thank you to Ruth for watching our kids, so we could go kidless =)

Youth Retreat

Kevin and all the youth leaders got to take the youth kids up north for a retreat. Here they are at the end of the retreat, receiving their prize (t-shirt) for completing the Amazing Race. A good time was had by all! It was a great way to end 2009 and get ready for 2010..."out with the old, in with the new". It's always good to remember that we are, "a new creation in Christ".

5th Year Anniversary

This year we celebrated by going on a dinner cruise that the church body blessed us with. Amy and Don came over and watched our kids as we enjoyed each other's company over an QUIET and delicious dinner. It was wonderful to get away. We then finished the evening at Blue Seal icecream where I met another man...no worries, though, Kevin took care of him =)

Christmas Day

The kids were taken back by how many gifts were under the tree (we put them out after they went to bed that night). Audrey said, "I can't open all these gifts today, you will be making me so busy, Mom. I can open a few and save some for later". She persevered til the end, but my kids were spoiled. Thanks for all the love you lavished upon them. This year was year of the costumes for LJ and paper stuff for Audrey.

Christmas Eve

We stuck to Kev's Christmas tradition and let the kids open one gift on Christmas Eve. Audrey opened a watch making kit from Danny, which she loves. She wears them all them all the time. And LJ opened his army set up. The had fun playing with their toys while we video chatted with Kevin's family.

Zoo

Once again we went to the zoo down the street (we had to show my parents just how ghetto it is). This time we took some random, fun pictures.
