It's the horse's birthday.

They asked to use the camera to get a picture of their celebration.

Audrey and LJ celebrated the horse's birthday. Complete with a cake.

These two are quite creative and have a great time playing together (most of the time).

Racked Out

My kids love to sleep. Ruie in the sleep machine aka swing.

Titus out watching a movie.

Josiah asleep.

Super Ruie

Anna got us this super cool Superman outfit for Ruie. Josiah and LJ were quite excited.

Josiah is in his Superman jammies hanging out with Super Ruie.

Way cute hair thing that a friend made. Love it!!

All my superhero lovers posing together.

Update on Ruie

Okay, so it's true...you just take less pictures with each child. Lame, I know, but I totally know why. You don't have the time you do with the first few. I feel like I've been non stop since I've brought her home. Someone always needs me. I think to grab the camera often, but then someone else climbs in my lap, or needs something, or gets hurt, or...the list goes on. Sorry! I'm going to try to be better but we will see.

She is a super chill baby. A great addition to our family.

I love it when they are immobile and can just chill on the couch all day.

Titus Loving on Ruie

He's officially an older brother. He's a nice one, too!! He's so gentle and kind.

Titus likes hanging out with her when no one else is around. He usually climbs right up next to her, pets her hair and talks her off. Maybe she actually understands his babble.

Introducing Ruie Mae

It all started Sunday, May 15th at my early morning appointment. From out of no where, my doctor informs me that I will be having a scheduled c-section the following morning. I was upset and confused and really didn't want to go through surgery. However, my body wasn't doing anything to prepare for labor and my baby was getting huge. So, after praying, I felt a little more okay with the decision and I headed back to the hospital that night inorder to be ready for the morning's events.

Here I am waiting for the nurses to come get me for surgery.

Laying in bed...no more belly in a few hours =)

Kevin taking a picture of me
Here she is. I was so excited to find out it was a girl. I knew Audrey was going to be thrilled.

10 lbs 14 oz, 21 inches long

She is excited to finally be out.

Family comes to visit. Josiah hangs with his little sister.

She has 3 older brothers...she's in trouble...or I should say, "Boyfriend Beware"

Chillin' on my bed

Here is my special, congratulatory meal. Japanese style.

OISHII (yum)

Bekah was the first Barnett to get to hold her, she was so excited.

6 o'clock in the morning of discharge. The doctor came in to take my staples out and insisted on taking a picture of us since we were in sleeping in the same position.

So far she is proving to be a content and easy child, but all babies sleep a lot at the beginning. Praying that she will continue to be mellow and just go with the flow.

More pictures to come once I upload the ones off of Kev's camera. I didn't take too many with mine...sorry.

Father Daughter Ball

Our church had a Father Daughter Ball. Boy was Audrey excited! She picked out her favorite dress (a Christmas one) the night before and wanted to put it on first thing in the morning. We scheduled a hair appointment with Mrs. Farah. She had a blast getting dressed up and going out with her dad. Here she is with the flowers he bought for her.

The boys insisted on taking a picture with Dad, too. He was all decked out!
The lovely couple

She came home ecstatic!

Mom, can I take a picture?

And I said, "only one." Here is LJ's work of art.

LJ asked me to take on of him and his new favorite pose. If LJ is ever in a gang, this will be his gang sign.

Josiah's second attempt.
Audrey's picture. Titus was an excellent subject, stopping to pose for her.

Yes, I'm still expecting!

I'm only getting bigger, more uncomfortable and really ready to meet the newest member of our family. I'm so not hot, but thought you might enjoy a picture of me at 41 weeks. I had an appointment yesterday to find out that my body is still happily with child. The baby is doing well: lots of fluid, lots of movement, great placenta, etc. He/she is just chillin'.

And because of it you finally get this updated blog post=)

Dying Easter Eggs

Titus' hands after the fact. His favorite color was green. He only did two eggs, but he sure had a blast pounding them into the dye and licking his hands.
Waiting for the fun to begin.

We didn't get any pictures of the action because my camera died =( However it was funny to see the kids different personalities. Titus was a go-getter, making a huge mess and laughing the entire time. LJ was all about mixing the colors. Josiah didn't like being messy and was way cleaner than last year. Audrey wanted one egg of each color and was quite methodical about it all.
