Weirdos

I promise they aren't showing off. This is a pretty typical scene in our day. Especially when music is on.

Happy Birthday, Mom-mom!

We love you and wish we could come tell you in person!

Where Did It Go?

Titus' famous phrase whenever he is looking for his water bottle.

Creating

Audrey making a book for school.

Everyone making Dad a Welcome Home sign

And learning to hang markers from their tongues.

Nothing like markers and a piece of paper.

I found this Sunday Morning!

There is a reason this boy sleeps with a mattress on the floor.

Ruie Update

She's offically awake more and needing more to do during the day. Sitting and staring off is not keeping as content these days. So, she now spends many hours on her play and the other day I rolled her on to her tummy. I would say, success!

She was loving the time on her belly.

Picnic at the Park

We packed lunches and headed to the park. We didn't get very far before they found water and fish...they spent the rest of their time trying to catch a fish.

Ruie chillin' in the stroller.
Josiah wearing my sunglasses.

All my crazy kids!

We sat back and watched and got burnt...I was a terrible mom and forgot the sunblock.

Last Week

Kevin took this incredibly hard working youth team

here...to Sendai. The place is getting cleaned up and looks way better, but there is still a lot of rebuilding to do.

They did a BBQ one day, to feed those who are need and to share the love of Christ.

But their favorite part was cleaning up these drainage ditches that were full of muck.

They labored hard for the Lord!

At the Park

We did a scavenger hunt with the youth at the park. In order to get ready for it we had to walk around and come up with things for them to find.

They had to pose with a ground map of the park. Here we are as proof that it does exist.

Taking a break on the drinking fountain
Our kids always ask to do the paddle boats. Today we said, "yes!"

Kevin had is work cut out for him. Good thing they are all still little.

Ruie and I waited for them, since the limit per boat was 5.

They had a blast!

A Day @ Home

Ruie chillin' on the couch
Lunch Menu (per request):

Peanut butter in a bowl

Pretzels (to dip in peanut butter)

Popcorn

They all kind of mixed their own ingredients and ate standing up. (shh...don't tell Dad)

Happy Boys! (Audrey is feeding the turtle his lunch)

By the way, Josiah pretty much lives in his Spiderman costume most mornings.

Playing around on cars.

Josiah taking a picture of Titus.

More board action: LJ being a robot.

Sailing away on the boat. (But there is a car in the middle of the ocean.)

Rescuing Ruie from Jail.
Our house looks like it's been condemned.

Now for a very important message:

Typhoon Muifa

Our power went out, so we headed over to the Phipps' house. Here are some of the kids watching a movie on the air matress. We ended up staying the night at their house and then crashing the Barnett's house since the Phipps' lost power as well. It was one long typhoon, but we are all safe and sound (Praise the Lord!).

Our first Thumb Sucker

She started a couple of weeks ago and has only gotten more hooked on her thumb. She's our first one to develop this habit. Not sure what to think, but it sure is cute.

LJ's New Boards

Climbing up. This one is for Kevin since he's currently gone right now. LJ wanted to show him his creation.

Made a jail out of my room.

Certainly not board anymore!
