We got to watch the zookeeper feed the hippos. These ones actually come out of the water and they eat chunks/blocks of grass. Both Audrey and LJ got to throw a piece into their mouths. LJ made it the first try, but it took Audrey forever...I guess all that ball throwing has paid off ;-)

What a relief to see the later pictures in this post! At first I thought you could go right up toe to toe with those hippos. My first thought was "well, that's not an American zoo - they'd get sued for sure". Glad to see you having fun.
