Military stuff

Josiah is really into helmets...didn't you know you need to wear one when you use your magnidoodle?

We went to a friend's work event and Josiah was all into the helmets. He kept putting one on and then running to the rock wall hoping that he could climb it. Too bad you had to be 6 to participate =)

Inside a make-shift shelter. The kids thought it was pretty cool. They even asked the other day if we could sleep in a tent. When I told them that we didn't have one, they said we could make it out of sticks and leaves like at Mr. Andrew's work.

Twins

The other day Audrey asked me to pick out some clothes for her to wear. After she saw that I brought her pink shirt, she asked, "Mom, will you wear your pink shirt so we can match?" Well, I figure she won't always want to look like me so I better do it when she asks. We were twins...down to the pink hairbands in our braided hair. She really thought it was cool. Someday she'll come across these pictures and ask herself, "what was I thinking?!"

watching Dad fix things

When anything breaks at our house the kids are quick to say, "it's okay, Dad will fix it." They think he is a super fix it guy and he does do a great job. Here he is putting a bolt back into the office chair and the kids are so into what he is doing.

LJ's Lasso

LJ got a lasso from his Uncle Robby and LOVES it!! Here he is hog-tying an Audrey and a chair. He loves tying things up!!

Valentine's Day Banquet

The church hosted a couples banquet on valentine's day. When Josiah woke up feverish in the morning I thought for sure that there went our chance on going (I was going to drop my kids at the church to babysat by our awesome youth who are trying to raise money for an upcoming mission trip). However, I was blessed by Keiko-san when she offered her services at my house. Kevin and I got to dress up and go out and it was SO nice, especially after being home all week with sick kids. Now getting a picture of us was a chore and LJ insisted that Dad wear his cape and bring his red rope just incase he needed to do some flying and rescue someone.

Audrey's attempt:

LJ's attempt:

Keiko-san...ya, for an adult!

At the banquet:

Wonder Museum

No better way to spend a rainy day than at the Children's Wonder Museum inside the zoo. I finally broke down and bought a year pass for myself so that we can go whenever. Now, that Audrey's 4 I have start paying admission for her, too...bummer! Here are some of the fun things you can do.

Become different Animals..their favorite was the elephant.

I liked the frog!

Lay around while your family has all the fun!

Feed the animals! They had these cool tracks that you could roll a ball into the animals' mouths.

Play around

Draw a crowd...the Japanese school girls seem to love Titus!

Boys & their Daddy

Josiah and the Bathtub

It seems like everyone of my children had to learn this lesson the hard way. Josiah LOVES taking a bath and bugging his brother and sister when they take their's...however, we discovered that he isn't so keen on the idea of taking a bath with his clothes on. Go figure!

LJ & Titus

These two are the best of buds! LJ and Titus are the first ones to wake up in the morning and they thoroughly enjoy their time together. LJ will sing and talk to him and whenever Titus cries, LJ is the first one there trying soothe him.

Coloring

Coloring at the kitchen table.

This is what usually happens when Josiah gets ahold of the markers.
