Rock Gym

LJ was a natural at bouldering.  He could scale up the walls without a problem.

Audrey did a great job!  She is a little more cautious, but totally works through her fear of heights to conquer the wall.

 LJ resting between climbs

Audrey made it to the very top of the wall!

Rejoice In Christ

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending a Women's Retreat.  Usually, this is not my thing, but God totally blessed me through His word as we looked at what it truly means to Rejoice In Christ!
The hospitality crew did an amazing job of decorating the place and making us all feel welcomed and loved!
Here is the entire crew! I was super blessed to meet so many new ladies.  It's funny, because I usually know all about their teenage kids...it's fun learning more about each family!
Me...away from kids, enjoying life!

Josiah's Yellow Belt

Natalie hanging out while the four oldest do their biweekly Karate class.
Yes, I'm a Karate mom...I think I need a bumper sticker, but I'm not even sure if they make them for cool sports, like Karate!
It was time to watch Josiah test out of his white belt and for a yellow belt, 1 stripe.
He did a great job!  These pictures even show a tough side of Josiah, that I don't often get to see.
Our photographer friend offered to bring her awesome camera and skills to capture these pretty cool moments.  Super blessed to have these photos!

Christmas Play

Josiah, Audrey and LJ were involved in a Christmas outreach to our community.  They worked hard at learning their lines in Japanese.  They did an amazing job!  It was definitely a highlight of their December!

Bike Riding

A few days after Christmas, these two decided to attempt a crazy adventure.  The biked the perimeter of Okinawa in a day...about 21 hours.

And right now he is back on his bike.  He is doing a shorter version it. This time it's to raise awareness for human trafficking and a ministry in Thailand known as Stop Slavery!

It's a good cause but I still miss him!
