School Has Begun

Due to inclement weather (typhoons and tropical storms) we decided to begin school.  That way in December and January when the weather is beautiful we can go take advantage of the great outdoors.

LJ has begun kindergarten.  He claim wants to do school, but doesn't enjoy cutting, writing or coloring =)  And his favorite question is, "Are we done now?"

Titus takes Notice of Faith

The first week or so that Faith was home, Titus didn't seem to show much interest.  Now, however, he loves holding her and playing with her, usually when no one else is watching.  I often find him with a pile of toys or books next to Faith just hanging out with her. He's a great big brother, so kind and gentle.  We call him our "gentle giant", since he's built like a linebacker but kind to all.

Faith comes home!

A week later and after having to deal with some breathing complications, we get to take Faith home!
 Audrey was one excited sister!

After holding her for just a moment, Josiah turns to me and says, "Mom, I like her!"
Mrs. Amy finally gets to hold her!

LJ is a great big brother and a natural at holding a baby.
 Ruie interacts with Faith
 Kevin gets his turn.

Audrey insists that she can take care of the baby and she does do a great job.  "Mom, you can feed her and I'll take care of her the rest of the time."
Here she is in "the outfit".  Every one of our children have worn this one.

And for the real Faith =)  Actually she only cries when she's hungry.  She's proving to be a super easy baby and has slept between 4 to 7 hours at night.  No complaints here!

July 24th 2012

The day finally had arrived...It was time to meet our newest daughter.  Here I am waiting to go into surgery.  And here is the view from my room...not bad, huh?!  This is why my delivery week feels like a mini vacation.  They pamper me and take great care of me here.
Amy, a good friend of mine, was able to come and watch.  She was awesome the entire week, sneaking me in some yummy food, pampering me and just hanging out!
One step closer, and we are ready to operate!
Got to see the entire thing with the mirror.  It was way cool!
These guys were amazing!  Docter Vaughnn, the American on the right, has seen me through 4 pregnancies, but this was the first one he delivered.  It was so cool, because they prayed over the baby and the operation before beginning!
Here she is:  Faith Elizabeth Johnson
Welcome to the world!

I did get to sneak a quick peek before they wisked her away.  I knew right away that something wasn't quite right, but praise the Lord for a healthy girl!

 Proud Dad!

 The stats:
Born - 9:23
Weight - 4112 grams/just over 9 lbs
My first set of visitors, the Rowland family.  They love my kids like their own.
Catching a glmpse of their new baby sister.

 Second day of life.

Josiah's Lego Dragon

Legos are a favorite around here.  I am so thankful for them as they will all spend a few hours almost every day creating and recreating.  Here is that dragon that Josiah made the other day while I was talking to you on the phone, Mom.
