Kev's Folks Visit

We were blessed to have Kev's parents come out for a visit.  It was A LOT of fun to have them here watching them interact with our kids.  The kids had a great time getting to know them.
Kay working her Grandma magic and rocked Ruie to sleep.
We got to take them to Ryukyu Mura...we had never been there before.
Here is the clan watching traditional Okinawan dancing

 Checking things out!

Where Kevin gets his good looks =)

 Tasting Okinawan tea and donut.

 Watching the Eisa Dancers.
Then we headed to the beach.

LJ's Birthday

Look who's Five!  Early wake up for him as his birthday was on Sunday morning!

Playing with balloons and opening gifts

He got a watch from Grandma Kay and Papa Les and Binoculars & Bubbles from us.
He got to share donuts with his Sunday School Class, go out to eat for lunch and watch movies.
And of course, eat cake!

Sisters

Who needs a baby doll when you have a baby sister?

Oreo Face

Faces

Maybe someday she'll want to comb her hair.

Cookie Dough For Breakfast

LJ had been asking for cookie dough for breakfast for several days in a row. Finally I caved in, made a bowl and let them indulge themselves.  My plan worked...none of them wanted another bite for the rest of the day =)

Random

Some of you have asked what it's like grocery shopping here. Well, here you have it...this is what I've got to work with =)  Just imagine this with all 5 kiddos in tow.  They are super shoppers and do a great job.  On this trip, only Audrey went with me, which allowed me to stop for a picture.
During Thanksgiving break Kevin along with another leader, Brad, and 4 youth kids ventured up north. It was a long and grueling bike ride, but they did it!!
Josiah has been doing school with Audrey in the afternoons and since LJ won't be shown up by is little brother he has reluctantly joined in as well.
Here is a large Ritz box from the Japanese market (left side) & a small box from the American market (right side)...I thought it was interesting how they appealed to their consumer.  Japanese box shows crackers topped with sushi and the American has good ol' peanut butter, cheese and apples.

Audrey has become the cookie maker at our house.  My stomach can't handle sweets...so if they want them, she makes them.
Even Ruie knows what yummy goodness is inside.  Oh, and Titus has officially potty trained...here he is only in undies, trying to get the hang of it.

This is what happens when Ruie misses her before dinner nap.  It's pretty cute if you ask me.

The New Year

2012 Has Brought Us:
A very active and mobile Ruie

A confirmed 6th pregnancy

A missing tooth

A new bunk bed with trundle

And Chicken pox...for all...I only managed to take a picture of Josiah

A few days later we got to celebrate again.
