Last Week

Kevin took this incredibly hard working youth team

here...to Sendai. The place is getting cleaned up and looks way better, but there is still a lot of rebuilding to do.

They did a BBQ one day, to feed those who are need and to share the love of Christ.

But their favorite part was cleaning up these drainage ditches that were full of muck.

They labored hard for the Lord!

At the Park

We did a scavenger hunt with the youth at the park. In order to get ready for it we had to walk around and come up with things for them to find.

They had to pose with a ground map of the park. Here we are as proof that it does exist.

Taking a break on the drinking fountain
Our kids always ask to do the paddle boats. Today we said, "yes!"

Kevin had is work cut out for him. Good thing they are all still little.

Ruie and I waited for them, since the limit per boat was 5.

They had a blast!

A Day @ Home

Ruie chillin' on the couch
Lunch Menu (per request):

Peanut butter in a bowl

Pretzels (to dip in peanut butter)

Popcorn

They all kind of mixed their own ingredients and ate standing up. (shh...don't tell Dad)

Happy Boys! (Audrey is feeding the turtle his lunch)

By the way, Josiah pretty much lives in his Spiderman costume most mornings.

Playing around on cars.

Josiah taking a picture of Titus.

More board action: LJ being a robot.

Sailing away on the boat. (But there is a car in the middle of the ocean.)

Rescuing Ruie from Jail.
Our house looks like it's been condemned.

Now for a very important message:

Typhoon Muifa

Our power went out, so we headed over to the Phipps' house. Here are some of the kids watching a movie on the air matress. We ended up staying the night at their house and then crashing the Barnett's house since the Phipps' lost power as well. It was one long typhoon, but we are all safe and sound (Praise the Lord!).

Our first Thumb Sucker

She started a couple of weeks ago and has only gotten more hooked on her thumb. She's our first one to develop this habit. Not sure what to think, but it sure is cute.

LJ's New Boards

Climbing up. This one is for Kevin since he's currently gone right now. LJ wanted to show him his creation.

Made a jail out of my room.

Certainly not board anymore!

Samson and LJ

LJ really enjoys Kevin's new turtle.

Titus and Ruie

He's a great big brother and always wants to hold her!

Ruie's Play Mat

The best part of having many siblings is that there is always someone to play with. I think this is part of the reason why she is always so happy. She gets lots of interaction throughout the day.

Playing School

Back packs on, books in hand, and lining up at the door to go somewhere. It was cool, though, because they were telling Bible stories to each other and asking questions. I think their Sunday School teachers have made an impression on them.
