Playing School

Back packs on, books in hand, and lining up at the door to go somewhere. It was cool, though, because they were telling Bible stories to each other and asking questions. I think their Sunday School teachers have made an impression on them.

Stop # 1

Yesterday we loaded up the van and headed out on an adventure. LJ kept asking, "where are we going?" He's the kid who doesn't like surprises. We honestly didn't know so we responded with, "We are going to awesome." Meaning that whereever we ended up it would be awesome.

We went to some islands. You can get to them by crossing over bridges. The drive was beautiful. We then found sights for historical places, so we stopped.

Here are the ruins of a village from long ago.

Stop # 2

We found another historical sight. Have no clue what this one was. We wandered down a trail and went exploring. It was a whole lot of fun.

It's really camaflouged and I don't know what it was called, but it would jump across the water. way cool!!

The older kids ran ahead with Kevin and we trailed behind.

Throwing rocks into the ocean

the water was absolutely beautiful.

This was the kids favorite spot. We saw hermit crabs, brightly colored crabs, cool shells, jumping creatures, we waded through the water, put our feet in the ocean, climbed rocks and a trail. It was a ton of fun!

Stop #3

As we continued our drive, we found a little race track where they were riding motorcycles, scooters, and one lone go Kart

we parked the car, ate some doritos and watched

Bath Time

Ruie makes this face when you put her into the water...it's awesome! She's totally uncomfortable but she doesn't make a peep. She just makes this, "I can't believe you are doing this to me" look.

Clothes Line

Got a clothes line...makes it nice for line drying diapers. Plus, the big bonus is that Audrey and Titus LOVE hanging the stuff up and retrieving after they are dry.

I don't even have to leave the AC to hang the clothes up =) I'm spoiled!

Sunday...a few weeks ago

A few Sundays ago, Josiah was sick so I stayed home with him. When the older kids came home from church, Audrey did her sisterly duty and checked him over.

They love playing doctor.

He put the throw up bucket to good use!

He laid around a lot, but wasn't that sick.
So after Kevin got done with a carwash on base he bought us some Burger King and we went to the park for a picnic dinner.

We were all thankful to get out of the house and have some fun.

Titus has discovered that if he gets the step stool he can reach the light switch. He had tons of fun. One of the switches makes a light turn on (it signals that the hot water is on). That one was his favorite and he would giggle!
