Introducing Pirate LJ & Princess Audrey

LJ has been wanting some dress up clothes. Good thing Halloween is right around the corner. We got a pirate and a ninja outfit. Goes great with his swords and hook!

The Wall family blessed us with a huge wading pool. The kids absoluely love it. The crazy thing is is that we don't even blow up the top portion of the pool and we only put about 6 inches of water in it. It doesn't take much to make them happy!

On our Way to Church

It was pretty cool this morning; as we were on our way to church we got to enjoy some of God's beautiful creations. What a great way to start the day as we set off to worship Him. The rainbow is in the background of the church building and the praying mantis was on the trunk of our car as we were loading up. Needless to say we were a little later than usual as we took the time to marvel at such neat sights!

No, we don't tie our children to the towel rack while we enjoy a nice evening to ourselves =) This is our kids' new favorite game...playing doggie. One usually puts a leash around their wrist while the other one takes care of them.

Markers!

Markers have been my worst enemies the last couple of days. Yesterday, Josiah got a hold of one and this is what he looked like. The day before, Audrey used LJ for her coloring page and he was a green mess (I forgot to take pictures before putting him in the tub). Why do the things my children enjoy often become something I despise?!
