Fairy Tale Town

The weather finally cleared up so we could spend a day out in the sun and have lots of fun. I have to admit that Fairy Tale Town has shrunk since I was a kid. I had to take a picture of me on the cheese, because when I was a kid I couldn't climb up on it as hard as I would try. My older siblings could always do it...so it was big feat for me that day ;-)

Cold Maine Weather

It was cold and even though after only one time being in it LJ would say, "No, I now like snow!" when asked, "do you want to go outside?" it didn't keep us from having a bit of fun. Kev and his brothers spent several hours shooting their weapons and the rest of us would go snowmobiling, ride on the zipline, or make a snowman.

Murder Mystery Dinner...Date Night!

This was extremely fun. We all dressed up in character and played our role as the mystery unfolded over dinner. Low and behold, Kev's dad, Mike Byson, was the murderer of the Billy Bonka, the famous chocolate creator. He took revenge on the man since his mom died working in his factory. Hmmm...My favorite character that night was Brian's puppet (alter ego), Ziggy!

While in WA we got to stay at Nathan's parents' place. Kevin got to sit on Nate's new Harley (no he didn't take it out for a drive). On the way to the airport we stopped to see Kev's cousin Jaime, Aunt Marsh and Jaime's little girl Emylia. We left WA feeling as if we didn't have nearly enough time. There were so many people we wish we could have seen and visited. Perhaps, next time!

Visit with Grandma Ruie and Grandpa Harold

We really enjoyed getting to see Kevin's Grandma and meeting her new husband. The kids loved their little dog Gizmo.

Vaction: Jet lagged...Day after Arrival @ 4 pm

This is what happens when you attempt to watch a movie after an extremely long plane flight the day before. Kevin came home about 2 hours into our nap and we didn't even notice. The kids stayed asleep until 6 am!! We were wasted.

So, we did it! We subjected ourselves to a picture session of torture..er..I mean fun. Okay, so I really dreaded it, but the lady did a great job and the Lord answered our prayers and it wasn't has bad as I remember it being when I was a child.
